Surfrider Foundation Eco Challenge Gold Coast (SFECGC) invites you to be part of our “Plastic Free” Eco Market Village.
Surfrider Foundation Eco Challenge Gold Coast is a family friendly, sustainable, community, surfing lifestyle event on Sunday 15th of March 2015, 7am all day at Tugun SLSC, 29 O’Connor St, Tugun QLD 4224 as part of the Bleach* Festival and is a major fundraiser for Surfrider Foundation & Tugun SLSC.
The criteria to participate in the Eco Market Village is to have petroleum free, sustainable, organic, chemical free products or services and that your company has current public liability insurance for $10,000,000 and a current Food Licence under the Food Act 2006.
The stall fee for a standard 3 x 3mt powered site is $100 and of course you can claim that as expenditure on your Tax Return as receipts will be issued. (Not for Profit organisations will have their fee waived)
Bump in is between 6 to 7.30am, please allow adequate time to have your stall sparkling and ready to role. Bump out 7.30pm
If you meet these simple requirements fill in the application form. Get in early to secure a prime spot.
An email will be sent to you with with banking deposit details and guidelines once we receive your application.
SGECGC event will have live music, a wooden surfboard teams challenge between “The Worlds”, displays of sustainable surfing products & services, skate comp/expression session , public speakers regarding Eco Topics, and of course our wonderful “Eco Village Markets” Also we will have children’s’ activities area, drumming & wooden surfboard workshops & more.
Our recent event at Kawana Surf Club in November 2014 which was a great success and saw approx.2500 attendees. We hope to replicate that with your help and welcome more people through the gates.
There were 30+ stalls at Kawana and we think “the more the merrier”!! But we will be respectful and not double up.
Once payment is received please send us your company logo and blurb for promotion of your sustainable or organic goods/services, and you in turn can help by spreading the events details through your network.
Remember to have your current food license and public liability insurance for us to see, and that there will be
Definitely no plastic water or drink bottles, or balloons. There will be a “Hydration Station” on site, for gold coin donation refilling of water bottles.

The event is PLASTIC FREE…NO PLASTIC will be allowed onsite.
To be eligible to hold a food stall at SFECGC you will need to purchase your catering supplies from Corporate Social Synergy (negotiable) & for this you will receive a GST Discount. See price lists. If you require anything not included in the catalogue to simply ask and James will source it for you (serviettes, paper bags and cardboard trays) Delivery will be free for orders 4 cartons or more and you can expect to receive the order within two working days. Orders can be place by phone or email.
